90 Day: The Single Life star John McManus is potentially ending his relationship with Megan after making a shocking revelation. John was introduced to viewers in 90 Day Fiancé season 9. He was the loud and endearing brother of Patrick Mendez, who made his brother’s life difficult thanks to his partying habits. Thaís Ramone was against John staying with Thaís and Patrick, and after the couple got married and moved to Las Vegas, John ended up moving out. He didn’t seem like the kind of person to end up in a serious relationship, but he revealed he had a girlfriend Megan in The Single Life season 4.
However, John has not revealed much about himself to Megan, whom he’d been seeing for over three months, according to a preview by ET.
John has invited Megan, who’s from Texas, to Las Vegas to meet his brother and sister-in-law. Thaís and Patrick are with their little daughter Aleesi and get the conversation about kids started between Thaís and Megan. Patrick asks Megan if she sees John being a good “father figure” to her 4-year-old daughter. “It’s kind of scary, I ain’t gonna lie, but I can do it,” says John, which makes Patrick and Thaís laugh. John gets upset and asks Patrick to stop talking. Patrick reminds him that he will have to be something he doesn’t want to be, “which is a dad.”
Patrick & Thaís Claim John Is “Like A Child”
John corrects Patrick as he adds, “No, I said I don’t want a baby.” Patrick looks at a shocked Megan and asks her, “Do you want more kids?” She honestly replies, “I’ve always said I wanted to have, like, two: one girl, one boy,” as Patrick cuts her mid-sentence, adding, “Well, John definitely doesn’t want one.” Megan tells the cameras, “That’s a lot,” during her confessional. She says she’s “taking in everything right now.” Megan admits that John being adamant about not wanting a child has taken her by surprise. Megan also recalls what Patrick and Thaís told her about John earlier during the meal.
The couple want Megan to know that John is “not the responsible type” because he himself is like a child. “You will have two child for sure,” Thaís warns Megan. This revelation makes her feel uncomfortable. She may not have expected Patrick and Thaís to expose John the way they did. However, Patrick and Thaís were, in a way, taking revenge for John inserting himself in their relationship all the time. They wanted Megan to realize what she was getting herself into by dating John. John had been clear about not being a father, and here he was introducing a woman who was a single mom to a 4-year-old as his girlfriend.
John and Megan met on social media. John confessed he was ready to settle down with the Texan woman. While he was apprehensive about her being a mom, he said he was ready to adjust if Megan was the one. John didn’t have a good track record before meeting her. He had been in three serious relationships and was involved in more flings and casual hookups than meaningful situations. Megan wants John to move to Texas and live with her. It would be a good idea for John to honor that request as he’s been living out of a suitcase in his brother’s house. However, he seems to have dug his own grave on 90 Day: The Single Life.
