90 Day Fiancé: Guillermo Rojer Left America (Why He Left Kara Rojer Behind)

Guillermo Rojer from 90 Day Fiancé season 9 has flown back to his home country, leaving Kara Rojer and his baby behind. The 26-year-old Venezuelan debuted on the show in 2022. He joined season 9 with his American partner, Kara, whom he had met in the Dominican Republic. Guillermo moved to the United States with Kara early in their journey. He had to come to terms with the fact that his girlfriend had a wild past. Ultimately, the Venezuela native did manage to overcome the issues. He tied the knot with Kara in a beautiful ceremony, ensuring his family participated in the event via video call.

Guillermo and Kara were one of the least toxic couples during 90 Day Fiancé season 9. They had no underlying problems and were happy to kickstart their new lives. They were also one of the two couples who announced their pregnancy during the Tell All. Guillermo and Kara welcomed their son, Nicolas Antonio, in December 2022. They posted the big news on social media and seemed excited about the future. At the time, Guillermo had settled well in the United States. He wasn’t only working as an executive manager at a hotel but also had a job in sales.

Why Did Guillermo Leave Kara & His Baby?

Guillermo celebrated his latest birthday on December 2, 2023. However, it wasn’t long after that he decided to travel out of the United States, leaving his wife and son behind. In January 2024, Kara took to her Instagram and shared that she’d miss her husband. The 31-year-old mom wrote, “I’ll miss his so much but I couldn’t be more excited for him.” In the video, the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 cast member showed how she dropped her husband at the airport while explaining where he was going on his solo trip. She added, “7 years without his country and family is a long time,” revealing that he’s going back to Venezuela to visit his family.

Why Did Kara Not Join Her Husband?

Kara showed her husband’s emotional departure from the United States and answered some of her fans. One such question was why Kara didn’t travel with Guillermo to Venezuela and accompany him on his big adventure. The mom of one replied, “oh we’d love to,” adding that she would’ve joined him if the lack of visas hadn’t stopped her. Kara claimed that it’s “a real challenge for Americans” to get a visa to Venezuela as a citizen of the United States. While the Virginia resident didn’t explain why it’s an issue, maybe she was simply referring to delays in the process. It must’ve been way easier for Guillermo to travel back to his home country since he was born there.

When Will Guillermo Return To The U.S.?

Kara also talked about how long she’d have to live without Guillermo. She replied to a fan who asked her, “what a great thing for him!! How long are you without him?” She said, “a lil while,” implying that she would have to take care of the baby by herself and live like a single mother for at least a considerable amount of time until her husband returns. Kara didn’t reveal the exact number of days, weeks, or months Guillermo would be away from home. The 90 Day Fiancé alum added that she doesn’t “want to be specific on the interwebs,” about his traveling plans.
