Debbie Aguero is keeping a major secret from Ruben the Cuban, which could end their relationship in 90 Day: The Single Life season 4. Debbie is a 67-year-old woman who creates art and sells jewelry for a living. Her first two husbands were both unfaithful towards her. When Debbie caught her second husband cheating on her, it broke her, and she went into a self-imposed exile for 12 years. Debbie claims it was Oussama who brought her out of her depression, so she decided to move to Morocco to marry him. He had already changed his mind by then. Oussama wanted to come to the U.S. instead.

She’s having a conversation with her son, Julian B. Lin, who’s accompanied her there to meet Ruben. “Ruben made me feel like a teenage girl last night,” Debbie tells Julian while she admits she can picture a possible future with Ruben. “Did you explain to him I’m here?” Julian asks. Debbie replies, “Oh no, I didn’t wanna ruin things. You know, I’m having a great party and then it’s like saying, ‘Oh the police are coming.’” Debbie adds.

Debbie doesn’t want Ruben to meet Julian, telling the cameras that Julian accompanied her to Miami because he wanted to protect her. However, he was doing it because he didn’t trust her anymore after Morocco. Julian joked that the next week, Debbie could find herself in Canada since she’s been finding random men online. “I like international flavor in the dating scene. It’s tasty,” she laughs. For now, it looks like Debbie is happy with Ruben. She thinks he’s an upstanding person and can sense a “passionate allure” coming from him.
Debbie is hunting for a romance that books and movies are made of. However, she has not been truthful to any of the men she’s dated so far on The Single Life. Debbie had not used dating apps before, but she quickly found a match when she met Russ. Debbie had told the 60-year-old that she was 58 years old. She lied to him about being 10 years younger because she didn’t want to be rejected by him. In the end, Russ did reject Debbie because she told him about her relationship with 24-year-old Moroccan man Oussama.
Now she has not told Ruben about her son having accompanied her to Miami. Debbie’s son is a police officer, which will certainly make things between her and Ruben awkward when she tells him the truth. She should have been honest with him if she wanted a storybook romance.
