Married at First Sight

NEW UPDATE – MAFS: Why Married At First Sight Fans Are Done With Steve Moy

Steve Moy might have garnered support during Married at First Sight, but it looks like fans have had enough of the reality star and his antics. A recent series of Instagram posts by Steve has fans of the franchise declaring that they are done with him. They don’t like the narrative that he keeps trying to push online.

Although Married at First Sight’s Noi Phommasak and Steve tried to make things work past Decision Day, it looks like it wasn’t enough to help their marriage. At the time, fans were disappointed to hear about their divorce, as they were the couple with the most potential, compared to the others in their season. One of the biggest hurdles the pair faced back then was communication. Noi tended to take to social media, while Steve disagreed with her behavior. However, it looks like the tables have turned, with Steve being the one who is constantly talking about his marriage online.

Married At First Sight’s Steve Moy Is Speaking Out

It seems as though Steve has been feeling nostalgic about his marriage, as the reality star put up two posts talking about it. While speaking about an US Weekly article covering celebrity breakups, where he was featured, Steve opened up about his relationship with Noi. He said that, despite everything, he was hopeful about the future. The reality star wrote, “You’ve made it clear you prefer not to be cordial, but if ever you change your mind, and want to try to be on better terms, I’m open to that conversation.

Then, he continued on, and the post got darker. He added, “A lot of damage has been done, but I will continue to believe that with willingness and growth, there’s always the potential for forgiveness and repair. It would take a lot of effort, and it’s probably less than likely, but it’s still possible.”

While Steve is hoping for change, fans think otherwise. In a Reddit thread by u/glimmerskies, fans called him out for trying to sound like, “a life couch guru on social media.” One Married at First Sight fan wrote, “I liked the guy at first but now? Top tier cringe and his Instagram posts are horrifying. I get psychopath vibes. Hope Noi blocked him everywhere. His creepy behavior is excalating. Steve just can’t let go. He needs to keep that sh*t to himself.”

Steve also pointed out that he found it amusing that he and Noi were listed ahead of A-list celebrity couples, only for fans to call him out on it, stating that besides the MAFS community, no one knew who he was. “Here he goes agin with these soliloquies that no one cares about. And what a weird post to keep mentioning celebrities 🙄. He should’ve left this in the drafts cuz it seems like he went on the show to be amongst the celebrities 🙄🙄🙄” wrote a fan. Steve seems to have fallen from grace, as per Married at First Sight fans. He recently posted a montage with an elaborate caption about his marriage. However, it looks like it’s going to be a while before he can redeem himself online.
