NCIS: Hawai’i fans beg for Lucy’s whereabouts as they slam show’s ‘oversight’ in not explaining character’s absence
NCIS: Hawai’i fans have wondered where Lucy ended up after the show had a major oversight.
Fans slammed the show for not explaining the character’s absence.
Lucy Tara, played by Yasmine Al-Bustami, was missing from Monday night’s episode.
The NCIS team was on the hunt for a group of thieves after a daytime robbery at the Navy Federal Credit Union.
While most of the agents were there to investigate the crime, Lucy was nowhere to be found.
She was not featured in the episode at all and the drama did not give an explanation as to why.
However, in first look photos for Season Three, episode four, Lucy is back.
She shares a sweet moment with her girlfriend, Kate, as they share a kiss.
Fans were very confused about Lucy’s sudden unexplained absence.
WHERE’D SHE GO?
X, formerly Twitter, users shared their confusion on the platform.
“Did anyone else think it was odd to not even mention Lucy? Not even a throw away line of oh she’s sick. Seems like oversight from the writers but either way next week seems to make up for it! #NCISHawaii,” one fan asked.
“Where’s Lucy? #NCISHawaii,” many others asked.
“No one has acknowledged Lucy is gone!! #NCISHawaii,” a third wrote, adding an angry emoji.
To that, a fan replied, “I keep waiting for some mention. Nothing.”
“So 2 days without Lucy and no explanation but ok #NCISHawaii #RenewNCISHawaii,” said another.
“So we’re two days without Lucy and they haven’t even bothered to make up a reason? #NCISHawaii #RenewNCISHawaii,” added an X user.
ABOUT LUCY
Lucy is the Junior Agent of the NCIS team.
She is also the girlfriend of Kate Whistler.
Kate worked as an officer with the DIA before she resigned.
Later in the series, Lucy becomes the NCIS Agent Afloat on the USS Ronald Reagan.
She was born in Texas and has two older brothers and a sister.
