A scandalous twist in Lauren G and Orion Martzloff’s Married at First Sight is making it look like they won’t end up together. The Lifetime reality TV show premiered almost a decade ago in July 2014. Singles who are willing to tie the knot during their first meet-up ever entertain the audience with drama and shocking scandals, and season 17 of Married At First Sight is no different. While the success rate of couples who have married on the show remains low, the teasers for the current season have already shown a runaway bride and a cheating scandal. Taking place in Denver, Colorado, MAFS season 17 has introduced five couples, including Lauren and Orion.
An electrician by profession, Orion is proud of his Native American heritage and believes he’s someone who wears his heart on his sleeve. Orion, 27, looked forward to introducing his culture to his wife. He opened up about exploring his feminine side when he went on a date with a man. Lauren, 31, is a federal budget officer who describes herself as a certified lover girl. She identifies as queer but, in theory, is a little bit more attracted to men. During her introduction, she declared she’ll always be committed to her husband, despite being attracted to both men and women even when married.
Lauren Admits To Cheating On Orion In Sneak Peek Of Season 17
MAFS season 17 has already promised that it’ll be anything but boring. The season’s new matches have bad news in store for them, even the ones that were compatible, such as Orion and Lauren. Their bisexual past and quirky personalities were, however, not going to make them last together. A lengthy preview of season 17 has Orion telling Lauren that he doesn’t feel “comfortable” with the fact that Lauren slept with “somebody else.” Without even batting an eyelid, Lauren replies, “I did.” Later in the trailer, Lauren admits that she feels “remorse,” but there’s “nothing” she can do to change “what happened.”
One clip shows Lauren confiding in a friend about how she felt herself falling for Orion. “And now I’m just like what the f***,” she cries. Lauren’s husband is shocked because of her actions. During a sit-down with the show’s experts, Orion admits he’s “heartbroken” because of Lauren cheating on him. The trailer makes it look like whatever has happened between him and Lauren has damaged the relationship for good. Orion doesn’t see a possibility of them working out. The trailer implies that Lauren cheated on Orion. However, it could have been something Lauren did before marrying Orion on MAFS.
Will Orion and Lauren Get Divorced on Married At First Sight?
Things don’t go well for Orion and Lauren in Married At First Sight season 17. The cheating scandal makes sure that the couple’s love story doesn’t see a happy ending. As it turns out, Lauren and Orion are mostly calling it quits even before the Decision Day arrives. Instagram page @mafsfan shared a spoiler about Lauren and Orion’s relationship status on their Instagram stories. They wrote, “Prior to Decision Day – Get Divorced,” about the much-talked-about pair. Although it looked like Lauren and Orion would get their happily ever after, this shocking plot twist is one that nobody expected.
