Married At First Sight: Emily Is Here for the Party
On Married At First Sight, Emily Balch is ready to marry her match. She admits she’s the life of the party. But that hasn’t yielded her a husband yet. Or even a long term relationship. Emily says she’s been single for 30 years. That’s her whole life. Emily can get dates just fine. But they tend to fizzle out by date 4. And usually ghost her.
Emily Balch decides to say goodbye to all the ghosts and sign up for Married At First Sight. After finding the perfect dress, its bachelorette party time. She’s not shy to dance with the strippers. And shows off her handstand skills to the delight of the other partiers. The shots flow and Emily admits her and her friends are always down to party.
The new MAFS grooms are also treated to strippers. Austin isn’t down to mingle. But Michael Shiakallis and the rest of the gang enjoy getting up close and personal with the entertainers. Orion confides that he’s nervous about his wedding night.

Since he’s got a “girth certificate”. There’s a little confusion at first but then it’s clear he means he’s well endowed. While Michael enjoys this tidbit of information, the others think it’s a bit much.
Married At First Sight: Emily and Brennan Get Ready to Wed
After the party Emily Balch gets ready to walk down the aisle on MAFS. Her family and friends are ready for the ceremony. Emily is confident while she gets ready with her bridesmaids.
They have some concerns since Emily hasn’t been in any long term relationships. Her maid of honor wants to know what she’ll tell her future spouse about her lack of experience. She isn’t too concerned and thinks that it won’t matter in the long run.

On Married At First Sight, Brennan Shoykhet is committed to the experiment. He thinks marriage is for life. And that whoever comes walking down that aisle will be by his side forever. His friends and groomsmen are supportive.
But suggest he be realistic. Brennan’s mom is hopeful. But he admits his dad can be a harsh judge of his decisions. As he prepares to say I do his dad tells him to be good to his bride and the rest will come.
First MAFS Couple Says I Do
It’s finally time for the first wedding on Married At First Sight. Emily Balch feels relaxed. But then the nerves set in. She takes some sips of wine and fans herself. And talks to herself to calm down. Her mom and bridesmaids are there for support. And the maid-of-honor makes her tear up. But Emily gets it together. She says only laughter from here on out. And takes her dad’s arm to walk down the aisle to marry a stranger.

The season’s first Married At First couple seem happy to see each other. Emily’s family want Brennan to know that Emily Balch is very social, loves to talk and is a carnivore. Brennan’s family and friends also label Brennan as a big talker and very committed. The pair exchange vows and rings and make it official. At least for now.
