When Zack Freeman and Bao Huong Hoang arrived on Married at First Sight Season 13, they had different partners. Zack was matched up with Michaela Clark and Bao married Johnny Lam. However, four months after the two couples ended their separate relationships, Zack asked out Bao on the Married at First Sight: Where Are They Now?’s special in December 2021.
According to Zack, he and Bao both went onto MAFS to find a marriage. He said that they both believed in the marriage experiment and even though their original pairings failed, it didn’t mean anything changed. He then admitted it was a big risk to ask out Bao. However, he said he was serious, otherwise, he wouldn’t have asked her out.
This then led to them dating each other. Zach even went to a Thanksgiving gathering with Bao and it seemed like they were starting to get serious. However, is the MAFS couple still together today?
Zack Freeman accused of cheating after MAFS
The Thanksgiving celebration was what ended up marking the beginning of the end of their relationship. See, Zack Freeman was reportedly dating another woman at the same time that he was going out with Bao. This woman was named Elena Guevara and she came forward and revealed the truth about her and Zack and what he was doing behind Bao’s back.
In an interview on Little Black Book about Zack, Elena said that she was dating him and he had asked her to keep it private and that they couldn’t be seen in public together. What she said Zack told her actually makes sense – but she soon learned what he was really doing.
Zack said that he couldn’t reveal the end of MAFS and that the reason they couldn’t be together in public was that he couldn’t spoil the divorce from Michaela until the Decision Day episode aired. She said Zack told her Lifetime could sue him if he spoiled the ending. Elena said she understood, but then something else happened after that. She saw the photographs of Zack and Bao at Thanksgiving.
Elena said she wanted to have an “adult conversation” with him about it, but he denied everything. This caused Elena to send Bao some private messages and they compared notes. Bao then later said during the MAFS Season 16 kickoff episode that she and Zack broke up because it was true and Zack cheated on her.
