MAFS Alum Mia Bally Seeks ‘Prayers’ as She Faces Hospitalization for Mysterious Illness
Mia Bally, a Season 7 alum of “Married at First Sight,” has maintained a low profile in recent years following her controversial time on the show. While she occasionally shares glimpses of her happy life with her daughter, Victoria, her latest social media post revealed a distressing health crisis.
In a heartfelt Instagram message, Mia shared photos of herself in a hospital bed, connected to IV drips, as she detailed her ongoing struggle with an undiagnosed illness. She asked her followers for prayers and positive thoughts during this challenging time.
Viewers were first introduced to Mia when she was matched with Tristan Thompson in Season 7 of “Married at First Sight.” Their marriage was tumultuous, marked by Mia’s arrest for alleged credit card fraud and stalking an ex-boyfriend as they were about to embark on their honeymoon to Mexico. This incident became one of the most memorable moments in the show’s history.
Since then, Mia has moved on and built a new life, focusing on her happiness and her daughter. However, her recent health issues have taken a toll. In her Instagram post, Mia described her difficult journey, explaining that despite undergoing surgery, doctors have not been able to diagnose her condition.
“It’s been a rough few weeks with getting surgery done, only to find out the doctors here have 0 clue what is wrong with me,” Mia wrote. She shared that she has undergone numerous tests, including blood work, culture tests, CT scans, and ultrasounds, but the results have been inconclusive. Doctors are now considering the possibility of an autoimmune disease, infection, cancer, or a combination of these.
Mia revealed that the pain persists even after surgery, and her next step is a tissue biopsy. The uncertainty and waiting have been overwhelming for the single mother. “I’ve been crying and trying to keep it together,” Mia confessed. She concluded her post by expressing her belief in the power of positivity and gratitude for the support from her friends.
