Recently, Kalani held a Q&A session on Instagram, where she answered some burning questions. However, her opinion on Ed and Liz was one of her most interesting takes. While answering a fan who asked her if she thinks “Ed and Liz are a good couple? Or Toxic?” the mom of two gave a heartfelt reply. She wrote, “Liz is the sweetest lil angel baby and so much fun to be around.” She then talked about Ed and claimed he was also “sweet” and “funny.” Kalani answered that despite Ed and Liz’s great personalities, they are indeed “a toxic couple,” like everyone else on 90 Day: The Last Resort, apart from Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren.

Kalani then shared some 90 Day: The Last Resort behind-the-scenes secrets and talked about what was missing from the show. An Instagram user asked her, “What do you wish the show would have shown but didn’t?” The 90 Day Fiancé star answered, “The banter between Jovi and Ed.” She claimed that her co-stars had a lot of interesting interactions “in every scene,” which didn’t make it to the final cut. She marked her response with two skull emojis, teasing that it was explosive. Unfortunately, the single mother didn’t reveal what happened between Jovi and Ed, but her reaction makes it seem like it must have been interesting.

Kalani’s bold and real approach is also why she gets criticism on social media. Since she openly shares her opinion online, it makes people feel like she is insensitive and inappropriate. When Kalani revealed that she had sex with another man, it was assumed that it was simply a way for her to get even with her husband. However, things weren’t as black and white for Kalani, who had been a virgin before she met her husband. Hopefully, Kalani will always stay as real as she is because that is her standout trait.
Kalani’s observation of Ed and Liz shouldn’t be surprising. Most people know that Ed and Liz are incredibly toxic, as evidenced by their journey on various 90 Day Fiancé spin-offs. The two have split up 11 times since meeting two years ago, proving they aren’t stable. Despite that, their social media posts, stories, and family content show they aren’t as bad individually. Ed just wants to be a fun guy to overcome his insecurities, while Liz is a loving mom. The two may not be a good pair, but hopefully, they will learn and improve after their therapy on 90 Day: The Last Resort.
