There is a popular saying in soaps that a happily ever after is the death of a super couple. And it applies to General Hospital as well. Honestly, we think it makes sense because soaps lean heavily on drama, and where is the drama in a happily ever after? It truly needs to be reserved for the end, no? This brings us to the currently smooth-sailing young guns – Spencer and Trina.
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Spencer may not be able to join Trina for the entirety of her semester away in Paris. All thanks to the war that is brewing between Esme and Ava. And his father Nik is orchestrating it! Amid the storm, Spencer would need and want to stay back in Port Charles. If not to hold up the fort, then at least to keep his little brother Ace safe from the worrisome war. This change in plan would certainly break Trina’s heart and all her Parisian love dreams.
Trouble In Sprina Paradise On General Hospital
Knowing Trina, we are certain she would be understanding of Spencer’s situation on General Hospital. At least until her parents – Curtis and Portia, start living in her ear. In the recent episodes, both of them displayed their disdain for Spencer in full swing. Curtis and Portia both hoped that Spencer would remain stuck in PC with Ace so that Trina could go to Paris alone. All in the hopes of her moving away and getting over her lover. It is sad to see them hoping and praying for their daughter’s heartbreak. Certainly, a stance in bad taste!
Having said that, we can’t really write off the possibility of their hopes actually translating into reality on General Hospital. If not forever, at least temporarily. In the past, too, Trina has taken issue with Spencer’s over-involvement in Ace’s life. So, if Spencer is consumed by his family drama entirely, then he may not have the time to keep tabs on Trina. Wouldn’t that be the perfect time for Portia and Curtis to plant the seeds of doubts in their daughter’s mind?
Add to that the possibility of Trina meeting someone in Paris that she starts depending on General Hospital. And that right there is the perfect recipe for romantic doom! Do you think Portia and Curtis will succeed in their attempts to tear Trina away from Spencer?
