General Hospital Spoilers: Week of October 16 – Charlotte’s Intervention, Nina’s Fate Decided, Romantic Moves and Total Panic

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for week of October 16-20 reveal that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will make a dirty move after receiving a phone call about who exposed Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) guilt to the SEC.

If Michael gets the right information and learns Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is behind the tip, he’ll inevitably plot against her.

It’s just a matter of exactly how Michael’s dirty move will affect Nina and her future!

Regardless, Michael may not get the news in time to stop Nina and Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) marriage from happening anyway, so that may be a factor in all this.

Meanwhile, Carly will give Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) updates on the plan to back Judge Albert Kim (Kurt Yue) into a corner.

The goal is to make Drew a free man or at least get him transferred out of Pentonville since things have become so dangerous there.

Of course, Carly would love for Drew to score his freedom and reunite with her, so she’ll cling to hope that they’ll be together again soon.

Next, Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will have a strategy session regarding the Face of Deception and whether they might need to appoint someone new in the role.

Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) may have a chance to either make a pitch for why she should keep the job or bow out gracefully if she’d rather tackle a different career.

Over with Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer), she’ll meet Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) for the first time, so she’ll no doubt give the kind and hunky detective her stamp of approval.

Lois will later have a heated faceoff with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), so she’ll try to show her former mother-in-law who’s boss.

As for Blaze (Jacqueline Grace Lopez), she’ll be full of surprises.

Fans will see Blaze catch Kristina off guard and eventually open up to her, so their friendship could be on the verge of becoming a romance.

Other GH spoilers say Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will be frantic as Ava Jerome (Maura West) sinks further into danger.

Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) will get caught up in some drama as he tries to help Joss find and save Ava.

Of course, Ava is stuck in captivity thanks to Mason Gatlin (Nathanyael Grey), but at least he didn’t take her out permanently like Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) wanted!

Even so, Ava will remain trapped and may eventually come face to face with Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) if Mason delivered her to her ex-husband.

Cyrus will ultimately make a fierce threat shortly before Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) puts Dex through an interrogation, so it may be another case of Cyrus pulling Austin’s strings and trying to get to Ava.

As for Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), she’ll have a tough conversation with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as they try to work through their problems and move forward as a united couple.

In the aftermath, Portia will launch an argument with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), so that could involve old issues as well as new ones!

In the meantime, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will have a romantic suggestion, so Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is sure to be impressed.

This could lead to Liz landing in bed with Finn by their time their night together concludes.

Elsewhere, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) will have an honest conversation with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), so these two really need to decide whether they’re going to commit to a romance or stop trying to force it.

Across town, Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) will have a tense confrontation with Esme Prince (Avery Pohl), so someone like Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) might have to play referee.

Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will be busy helping Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) handle Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) since he’ll open up to her about Charlotte’s troubling plot against Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).

General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will ultimately shock Charlotte, so she might walk into an intervention involving her papa and Grandma Laura.

However, Charlotte may be innocent when it comes to starting the fire, so stay tuned to see if there’s more to the mystery.
