General Hospital Spoilers: Lulu Wakes Up for Dante – Frees Sam Up for Jason Romantic Reboot?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) name has been coming up more often, so that could be a sign that the show plans to wake her up soon. Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wishes Lulu were around to support Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), who could obviously use some guidance from her mom right about now.

After Laura received the news of Bobbie Spencer’s (Jacklyn Zeman) passing, she reflected on all the losses the Spencers had faced. Laura included comatose Lulu on the list since she’s stuck in limbo and is terribly missed.

Of course, Lulu has to awaken eventually – and the timing may be right now that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is also coming back to the show.

If GH writers plan to push Jason in Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) direction again, they’ll need an alternate romantic plan for Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Lulu is arguably Dante’s true love, so having her wake up would create some complications.

That’s especially true since Lulu had realized her feelings and was ready to reunite with Dante just before she fell into her coma.

Lulu’s going to be shocked when she comes back to the land of the living and discovers she’s missed years of chaotic drama.

The fact that Dante has moved on with Sam could be pretty heartbreaking for Lulu on top of everything else.

However, Dante could support Lulu as a friend and help her as she tries to wrap her head around all the changes in Port Charles.

Lulu will have to cope with Bobbie’s demise as well as the loss of Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).

Naturally, Charlotte’s life-threatening ordeal will be at the top of Lulu’s list of concerns.

Although Charlotte thankfully survived all that mayhem with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), it’ll be a lot for Lulu to process.

Lulu may lean on Dante and pull him closer, which would inevitably pull him away from Sam.

It’s easy to imagine Sam bowing out if she feels like she’s become a third wheel to Dante and Lulu’s reconnection.

If Lulu’s awakening wrecks Sam and Dante’s relationship, it could free Sam up for a romantic reboot of her own with Jason.

There was a time when Sam was terrified of the danger Jason brought to their family, but things are changing now that the kids are getting older.

Plus, after what went down with Charlotte, Sam might see that dangerous situations can happen no matter what.

Sometimes you just have to follow your heart, so will Sam’s lead her back to Jason?

If Lulu reenters the picture in the coming months too, it could pave the way for some big shakeups.
