General Hospital Spoilers: Is Alex Marick Framing Valentin – Anna’s Twin Sister Plots Vengeful Setup?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that revenge has been a hot topic on the show lately now that someone’s targeting Anna Devane (Finola Hughes). The show’s definitely planting some clues to make Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) look shady, but things may not be quite as they seem.

For starters, no amount of rewriting can undo Valentin’s deep love for Anna.

They’ve shown us someone who’s deeply devoted to this woman – a man who wept privately by Anna’s hospital bed and begged her to come back to him after Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) tried to take her life.

It makes no sense for Valentin to be trying to harm Anna in any way, so that leaves us with a few options to consider.

One is that Valentin is being forced to do somebody’s dirty work or that he’s being coerced to muddy the investigation.

Valentin has been cagey about Pikeman, so GH fans may not be getting the full story.

Some very personal threats might’ve been made that Valentin hasn’t been willing to divulge yet.

However, another option might be if Valentin is being framed!

Could someone perhaps be going after revenge on both Anna and Valentin or at least be using a Valentin setup as part of their plan?

If someone is indeed framing Valentin, we should contemplate who’s responsible.

A possibility that immediately comes to mind is Alex Marick (Finola Hughes), especially since her name came up in the August 14 episode.

During a conversation with Valentin, Anna mentioned that he previously targeted her with vengeful motives.

Valentin quickly pointed out that was before he knew Alex was the one who wronged him.

Maybe the show’s switching things up now by leaving a sinister trail behind Valentin.

It could dupe Anna into thinking Valentin is guilty, which honestly sounds like something her twisted twin would enjoy doing.

Alex might consider it a vengeful move against Valentin as well as Anna, who could turn against the man she’s fallen in love with over all this.

Even if Valentin is keeping secrets – like his fake ELQ emergency and the fact that his car wasn’t on the security footage – that doesn’t mean he’s going after Anna.

There’s even a chance the security footage has been doctored as part of the setup, so that’s worth mulling over.
