General Hospital Spoilers: Drew’s New Woman Revealed – Fresh Start Romance After Carly Breakup?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many fans are intrigued by Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) chemistry with Mr. Brennan (Charles Mesure), who asked her out recently. Carly turned down Mr. Brennan’s dinner date invitation since she’s already involved with Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison), but are Drew and Carly really meant to last?

It seems like Carly really lights up around Mr. Brennan and crackles in a way that she doesn’t with Drew.

Of course, Mr. Brennan is all kinds of shady, but it’s still possible he has a romantic path forward with Carly.

Even if Carly and Mr. Brennan aren’t meant to last either, their flying sparks arguably prove it’s possible for Carly to sizzle with someone else.

Although Carly and Drew undoubtedly have some supporters out there, there are plenty of people on social media who just aren’t feeling them as a couple.

Now that Carly and Mr. Brennan have offered a little glimpse of what could be, maybe it’s time to think about splitting up Drew and Carly for good.

Should GH writers set both Carly and Drew free from this pairing? Perhaps Cameron Mathison’s version of Drew could also sizzle with someone else if given the chance.

Drew could be paired up with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) if her own relationship with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) ends down the road.

Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante) would probably love to have her parents back together.

Then again, the show could go for a pairing option that’s a bit more unexpected and put Drew with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) or even a newly cast love interest picked just for him.

Regardless, Drew and Carly have always had a rather forced romance. It seems like the writers just paired Carly with Drew because they didn’t know what else to do with their characters.
