General Hospital spoilers tease that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had his entire life change in the blink of an eye. This past summer, Curtis was on the roof of the Metro Court when he was hit by a sniper.
Curtis almost died, but thanks to the doctors and nurses at General Hospital, Curtis was saved. Unfortunately, his injuries to his spinal cord left Curtis without feeling in his legs. And while the bullet may not have been intended for Curtis, he’s still paying the price for being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford was quite active in Port Charles!
Before he was injured, Curtis led quite a full life. He had only recently been married to Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). He also was active at his establishment, the Savoy.
And although doctors have told Curtis he can still live a full life, he couldn’t help but feel a bit sorry for himself. His marriage to Portia was already on shaky ground before the shooting, so she had to convince Curtis that she still wants him in her life. Curtis has quite a bit of pride, so any concessions being made to accommodate his injuries have been a hard pill to swallow.
GH Spoilers – Selina Wu has offered to buy the Savoy.
Curtis still isn’t completely sure he wants to keep the Savoy. He has entertained an offer from mobster Selina Wu (Lydia Look) to purchase the club. But Curtis’ father, Marshall Ashford (Roger Gossett) has been adamant that Curtis keep the club.
While Marshall has been somewhat successful, Curtis still hasn’t made a final decision. In many ways, Curtis believes he can no longer live the life he once did. Luckily, Curtis may receive some good news in the very near future.
General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford may regain feeling in his legs!
Although it would be nothing short of a miracle, look for Curtis to begin to regain some of the feeling in his legs. But Curtis will likely keep this information to himself.
He won’t want to regain the ability to walk on anyone else’s timetable. To that end, he may disappear for hours at a time while he works to walk again. Perhaps he will make a grand reveal in front of all his friends and family.
Although Curtis certainly could live a full life if he remained paralyzed, regaining the ability to walk would certainly be a game changer, not only for Curtis but for all of those who love him.
