General Hospital Spoilers: Carly’s New Man Revealed – Fresh Romance After Drew Relationship Crumbles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that some cracks have already been forming in Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) relationship, so it’s only a matter of time until things get worse.

Drew’s obsession with making Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) pay is becoming a problem for Carly, who feels like he’s only succeeding in dragging Nina back into their lives. The more Drew pushes back, the more Nina’s going to do the same.

It feels like Drew and Carly’s relationship has changed since he got out of prison, so this romance could be on the verge of crashing and burning.

Of course, a reunion with Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) clearly won’t be an option for Carly anytime soon now that he knows about her betrayal.

Carly covered for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after he hired Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) to take down Sonny and then urged Dex to stay on as part of a Sonny protection plan.

Sonny is feeling insulted since Carly didn’t trust him to handle his business on his own, so it doesn’t seem likely he’ll land back in her bed – at least not right now.

Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might be a romantic option for Carly again when he returns, but we can’t forget about his love story with Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).

Sam’s already been mentioning Jason more often, so their reunion could get in the way of Carly reconnecting with Jason on a romantic level.

All of this means that Carly may need a new love interest – and that’s where John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) may come in.

When John first popped back up in recast form, he immediately ran into Carly outside Bobbie’s and started chatting with her.

It could be significant that the show planted that seed from the get-go. Another hint is that Adam Harrington’s placement in the show’s credits indicate that he is on contract.

Carly is frustrated with Sonny for not seeing things her way, so that could bring an easy path to bonding with John in the near future.

It’s easy to imagine Carly and John hooking up at some point or even becoming a real couple.

That could intensify John’s feud with Sonny since Carly is the mob boss’ ex-wife.

Although Sonny isn’t on good terms with Carly at the moment, that doesn’t mean he wants John pouncing on her!
