General Hospital spoilers say that she’s back and you better believe that she’s going make quite the impact, too. However, actress Rena Sofer, who plays Lois Cerullo on the hit ABC soap, says that it took some time for her to get reacquainted again with her former character. It’s been three decades since she last stepped in her shoes. Here’s what she has to say.
General Hospital News: Rena Sofer: ‘I Feel Like A Fish Out Of Water’
Speaking to the Associated Press in a new interview, the daytime television beauty said that it took a little time for her to get back into the swing of things. After all, it’s been a very long time since she was last in Port Charles. Make that 30 years long. She said, “Just walking around the halls, I’m looking at the names on the dressing rooms and so many I remembered and so many I had no idea. I felt like a fish out of water. But it was also the same building. So it was a little discomforting, but it was also a little deja vu.”
Although Rena adds that all it took was for one thing for her to feel like Lois again. And yes, it’s what you guessed for it to be. She said, “I put the nails on, I was done. The nails are such a part of who she is.”
General Hospital News: What’s Next For Lois In Port Charles?
If that weren’t enough, Rena said that General Hospital Executive Producer Frank Valentini brought in a nail artist to help create the perfect nails for Lois. They even matched her outfits! She said, “We sat for like three-and-a-half hours and we designed nails and it was a blast. And then you put on the outfit with the matching nails and it was like, ‘Oh my God, here she is.’ It was perfect.”
