Catching Up with Justin Hall: Life Beyond ‘Married At First Sight’ Season 15

Married at First Sight season 15 cast member Justin Hall has moved on since the show, and there is a lot to know about the now-36-year-old. Justin was matched with Alexis Williams by the Married at First Sight experts. Season 15 took place in San Diego, California, and featured five couples. Justin and Alexis, Lindy Elloway and Miguel Santiago-Medina, Morgan Bell and Binh Trinh, Stacia Karcher and Nate Barnes, and Mitch Silverstein and Krysten Collins all got married to a stranger.

Season 15 had mixed success on Decision Day, with Justin and Alexis, Lindy and Miguel, and Stacia and Nate all saying yes to each other. The San Diego season served a lot of uncomfortable, explosive, and entertaining moments. From Mitch repeatedly putting his foot in his mouth when talking about this lack of attraction to Krysten to Morgan’s harsh words to Binh after she felt he betrayed her trust, season 15 did not disappoint. And Justin and Alexis were responsible for a lot of the entertainment value.

RETITLED_ Why MAFS Fans Trolled Justin Hall Over His New Relationship

As it turns out, Justin and Alexis had matched on Hinge prior to marrying each other at the altar, but they never acted on their match. Also, Justin had been celibate for two years leading up to his marriage to Alexis, and Alexis had turned down three proposals in her time. From the jump, Alexis and Justin had chemistry with Justin even dropping the L word to Alexis on the honeymoon. It took her a while to reciprocate, however.

The pair ran into problems with their differing emotional temperaments, and they had several arguments about being disconnected with their expectations.

Alexis wanted a more dominant man, and Justin seemed too sensitive for Alexis.

They also had major issues after Justin’s dog Maya attacked Alexis’ dog Newton, which resulted in Justin rehoming Maya despite having her since a puppy. Ultimately, the pair said yes to each other on Decision Day, but had a massive fight shortly after, with Alexis changing her mind about staying married (via Lifetime.)

Justin Was Reunited With His Dog, Maya

While Justin had to rehome his dog, Maya, after she attacked Alexis’ dog, Newton, during their time on Married At First Sight, he recently shared that he was able to get his dog back after some extensive behavioral training. Justin, who was concerned with the way Maya was reacting to the new people in her environment, was shocked when she lashed out at Newton. While she was only a puppy, Justin knew that if he was going to try to allow his relationship the space it needed to work, he’d have to rehome Maya for the duration of the experiment.

While Justin was open to rehoming Maya, Alexis was upfront that she couldn’t continue in their relationship if he didn’t remove her from their home. She made it clear she wasn’t comfortable in a space with Justin’s dog, and he chose to put her first despite his own feelings. After their split put a sense of finality on his relationship with Alexis, Justin began working toward getting Maya back. He was able to put her into behavioral training and work with her to ease some of the behavioral issues he’d seen crop up, and eventually get Maya back home again.

Justin Shared A Medical Diagnosis With MAFS Fans

In October 2023, Justin went on Instagram, as reported by Monsters and Critics, to let fans know he had been diagnosed with Klinefelter Syndrome, which is a genetic disorder.

“a male born with 47 chromosomes instead of 46…XXY is what I am instead of XY,” Justin described about Klinefelter Syndrome.

He went on to state that, “Living with XXY can present unique challenges. My experience has been both rewarding and frustrating.” He has been on treatment ever since and has noticed that he is less emotional, can gain muscle and that his testosterone levels are up.

Justin is on Instagram, @the_colorgrey, where his account is private. He has 262 posts and 11.8k followers. In his bio, he shouts out his height, “ISFJ” personality type, and his Klinefelter Syndrome diagnosis by writing, “6’8 • ISFJ • 47 XXY.” He does not give away his location, simply putting it as “Somewhere.” Moreover, Justin states that he is a “Performance Marketer” and recognizes his experience on Married at First Sight, although he seems to have a negative connotation.

“MAFS S15 Unfortunately,” it states in his bio.

In September 2023, Justin debuted his new girlfriend on Instagram. They had attended a wedding together, and Justin spoke fondly of his blonde-haired girlfriend.

“Because of you, I have strong boundaries now. Because of you, I’m learning to communicate better. Because of you, I’m living a healthier lifestyle. Because of you, I continue to discover the best version of myself.”

Married at First Sight’s Justin seems to have put his reality TV past behind him and has moved on by recognizing more about himself and improving his character.

Justin And Alexis Have Teamed Up Again For An MAFS Debrief

While Justin’s Instagram has been deactivated in recent months, he shared in December 2023 that he and his ex would be reuniting for a video that reflected on their Married At First Sight experience. Justin and Alexis seem to be on decent terms, and while their marriage didn’t ultimately work out, they chose to continue their friendship after their time on the show was over. The video, hosted on Alexis’ YouTube channel, seems like a one-off episode, even though it was likely meant to be a longer series. The exes speak about their difficult experiences on Married At First Sight.

Though Justin and Alexis have love for each other, it’s clear that what they wanted out of MAFS and out of their relationship was incredibly different. Justin, who was hoping that he would find someone who could fit into his life, had too many expectations for Alexis. The MAFS bride, on the other hand, was looking for someone who wanted to get out of their comfort zone with her, and Justin simply wasn’t the right fit. Though they chose to stay together on Decision day, the couple split quickly, but can now speak openly about Married At First Sight.
