90 Day: The Single Life Season 4 Cast Confronts Tyray Over His Fear Of Rejection
90 Day: The Single Life star Tyray Mollett is revealing his biggest fear during the season 4 Tell All. Tyray is a 33-year-old from Modesto, California. Tyray introduced himself as a virgin while he was in a long-distance relationship with Carmella from Barbados for four years. Carmella refusing to get on a video call with Tyray didn’t seem like a red flag to him. The 90 Day Fiancé producers saved Tyray by telling him he was being catfished by a man named Christian. Tyray’s confidence was shattered, but he decided to leave heartbreak behind to find love.
The Single Life cast is giving some much-needed dating tips to Tyray during the Tell All.
90DF’s Tim Malcolm turns to Tyray to ask him why he is so scared of rejection.
He tells Tyray that the worst thing a woman could tell him if he asked her out would be “no.” Tim explained to Tyray that someone saying no to him wouldn’t really affect him in the long run. Tim told Tyray how there were going to be women he’d meet during his lifetime who would declare that Tyray wasn’t their type. “And it’s nothing personal,” Tim added.

The 90 Day: The Single Life Tell All host Shaun Robinson asks Tyray what he learned about himself in the process of him going on multiple dates in season 4. Tyray admits that the best thing he learned about himself was not to be afraid and not to be so insecure about himself. Tyray reveals that he has a habit of getting in too much in his own head and overthinking things. Tyray feels that his being with someone could lead to heartbreak before he even asks the woman out or shows interest in dating her.
“Rejection is part of life.”
John Mcmanus has the same advice as Tim for Tyray. Tyray says that he agrees with Tim and admits that he deals with a fear of rejection. Tyray feels that when he gets rejected, the other person has “one up” on him. John tries to make Tyray understand that not everybody is everybody’s type, which makes rejection a natural part of Tyray’s dating journey. John wants Tyray to realize that even if he is the nicest person in the world, there’s always going to be someone who doesn’t like him, and “that’s okay, that’s life.”
Tyray has struggled to meet new people all his life because of his appearance. Tyray found the easy way out by dating someone online, but the person turned out to be a catfish. Tyray was humiliated by Christian. Things didn’t get better for Tyray in 90 Day: The Single Life either, because his first date, Tiffany, ghosted him, and his second date, Taresa, wasn’t interested in a long-distance relationship, while Raina also didn’t want to rush things with Tyray. However, Tim and John’s advice may have worked, since Tyray has hinted at a new romance in his life in 2024.
