90 Day: The Single Life: Ruben The Cuban Is Serious About Debbie (He Made A Big Gesture)
Debbie Aguero’s relationship with Ruben Sanchez, AKA Ruben the Cuban, is getting pretty serious in the 90 Day: The Single Life. Debbie first graced the TV on 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 with her Moroccan beau, Oussama Ahamdane. Debbie and Oussama made history in the 90 Day Fiancé franchise for being the couple with the biggest age gap, and it wasn’t shocking when the two went their separate ways. The red flags were obvious, with Oussama seemingly needing a visa out of the relationship.
Their relationship fizzled out, and she seems to have found a spark in a new man, but this time, she is dating someone close to her age. The 90 Day: The Single Life star met Ruben The Cuban, a 58-year-old man, on a dating app, and the two love birds have a lot in common. Even though Debbie’s son Julian was a little bit protective of his mother’s heart after her heartbreak in Morocco, Debbie still followed her heart, and her connection with Ruben was amazing from the first date.

During their second date, Ruben introduced Debbie to his dad. Debbie said Ruben had already told her he was the primary caregiver of both his parents. The 90 Day: The Single Life personality indicated she was skeptical about meeting her future in-laws since she had a bad experience with Oussama’s family. She also added that she is still shy about meeting anyone’s parents her age but was relieved the experience was normal and didn’t have to worry about him liking her (via 90 Day Fiancé).
“I didn’t expect to meet Ruben’s dad on our second date. So it’s kind of like okay, maybe he really likes me. And you know, believe it or not, at my age being 67, I’m still shy to meet someone’s parents because you know they’re sizing you up like, Is this gonna be part of my family? Is this gonna be the in-laws or the out-laws?”
Ruben The Cuban Is Different From Oussama
There are many differences between Ruben the Cuban and Debbie’s ex-boyfriend, Oussama. Ruben being 58 makes him close to Debbie’s age, meaning the relationship has a lot of maturity. The chemistry between Ruben and the 90 Day: The Single Life season 4 star seems to be way more than what she had with Oussama, making them a solid match. Debbie stated that she needed someone brave who wasn’t afraid of relationship labels. “I certainly don’t want a 24-year-old. I am not playing pals of perverts again,” Debbie told the producers on 90 Day: The Single Life.

Debbie and Ruben are both vibrant and outgoing and enjoy colorful styles. “Usually, I am attracted to a gentleman that is conservative yet classy. It was almost like a little comedy. To see him standing there blazing in every color God created, top, pants, hat, balloons, gifts, flowers, so I’m like, what is this? It was almost like overkill” (via 90 Day Fiancé). Although Ruben hasn’t met Julian yet, his relationship with the 90 Day: The Single Life star grows daily, as he often posts her on his Instagram page.
