90 Day Fiancé’s Tim Malcolm Hopes Veronica’s Marriage Pact “Never Gets Enforced”

Tim Malcolm from 90 Day: The Single Life revealed why he doesn’t want to get married to Veronica Rodriguez. Tim, who’s from Charlotte, North Carolina, became a reality TV celebrity with his 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 3 debut. He was in a long-distance relationship with Jeniffer Tarazona from Colombia, while his ex-fiancé Veronica was still very much involved in his life because Tim co-parents her daughter Chloe. Tim and Veronica had been together for nearly a decade before they split, but they remained close friends thereafter. They even made a marriage pact where they would marry each other if they didn’t find a significant other.

In an interview with ET, Tim revealed that the marriage pact is “still technically on the table.”

It had started when they were 30 but later moved to 40, and now they’ve decided to marry if they’re both single by the age of 50. “That pact has been floating around, I believe, for a very long time,” Tim confessed. He doesn’t know if he will end up marrying Veronica. However, Tim hopes that the pact never gets enforced because he knows he will “have a very miserable life” with her. Tim is sure Veronica also doesn’t want to get “stuck” with him either.

Tim Malcolm Admits There’s “Negative Side” To Veronica Relationship

“But you do got to have a backup because nobody wants to die alone, right?” Tim joked. Tim’s ex Jeniffer and a man named Justin Foster, whom Veronica dated on 90 Day: The Single Life season 3, were both uncomfortable with Tim and Veronica’s close relationship. Meanwhile, there was a huge desire to see Tim and Veronica get back together. Tim believes that it isn’t a possibility at all. “It’s very funny to both of us that people say that, but obviously it’s the same with social media, right? Like, you post your best moments,” Tim commented.

However, Tim noted that he and Veronica have a negative side to their relationship where they get into arguments and disagreements “like everyone else.” He admitted that he and Veronica don’t have much in common at their age, and it’s “very difficult” for them to even sit and watch a movie together. Their tastes in music and films are “polar opposites,” even if fans want a “good love story.” Tim also addressed how difficult it has been for him and Veronica to date other people when their partners constantly see online comments that say, for instance, “Leave her. Get back with Veronica.”

Tim was in a relationship with a woman named Linda Ramirez, whom he met on an app to date Colombian women. He was with Linda for over three years after his split with Jeniffer. Tim has stayed quiet about his split from Linda, but he has been announced as a cast member for 90 Day: The Single Life season 4, which confirmed his breakup. The previews show Tim getting into a fight with Veronica’s boyfriend, Jamal Menzies, which might suggest he still has feelings for his ex, even though he might have denied them in this interview.
