David Dangerfield is all set to ask Sheila Mangubat to marry him after buying her a ring in the next episode of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. At 42, David was looking for his next wife. He was okay with dating a hearing, deaf, or hard-of-hearing woman after he got cheated on by his ex-girlfriend. Sheila came into David’s life via a Facebook group. He dated the single mom from the Philippines for two years until David decided it was a good time for him to meet her in person. David and Sheila’s in-person meeting didn’t go quite as planned.
Sheila found it difficult to communicate with David in American Sign Language, and shortly after he met Sheila’s parents, her mother Ma Remedios died. Still, as revealed by ET, David wants to make the most of his Philippines trip.
In the upcoming episode, David is going to propose to his girlfriend. David and Sheila are both dressed to the nines as they head out to a fancy dinner date. “I’m so nervous and trying to keep it all together because I’m ready to ask Sheila to marry me,” a sweaty David tells the cameras in private. David reveals he’s ready, but “nothing is a sure thing.” He admits he’s going to be nervous until Sheila says “yes.”
Sheila Appreciates David’s Support Amid 90 Day Fiancé Drama
“I never found true love, and now with Sheila, I finally have it,” David says. He believes in their relationship and hopes Sheila has the same beliefs. “It decides our future,” he adds. At the restaurant, Sheila impressively uses ASL to talk to David. The couple may have left their translator device at home for this romantic outing. Sheila successfully asks David his drink of choice before placing the order for wine. “Have you ever been on a D-A-T-E like this before?” Sheila wants to know from her boyfriend.
David says he hasn’t, and Sheila admits to the cameras that she’s never been to a fancy dinner before either. David is making Sheila feel like a queen. “This trip is not always easy, especially with everything that has happened with my mother’s death,” Sheila continues. But David has always supported her, and Sheila is thankful for having him in her life. The clip doesn’t reveal what happens next. However, it’s easy to predict that David will be going down on one knee in the next episode to propose.
David wants to get married and start a family of his own. He’s already decided he’s going to be a good father to Sheila’s son Jhonreil, even if Jhonreil is not interested in going to the U.S. David also wants to have his own kids with Sheila. There are rumors that Sheila is indeed pregnant, but she recently denied them. Sheila said she’s put on weight. Regardless, David and Sheila are probably the most loved couple from Before the 90 Days season 6 and, after episode 14, will also be the most successful out of their fellow cast members.
