Sam from Missouri and his “baby face” attracted Citra from Indonesia when she messaged him on a dating app. Sam had been dealing with drug addiction issues since he was 15. Citra shared Sam and her wedding photoshoot pictures and wrote, “When people said ‘you left your country, your family, your career and came to the states to marry this loser?’” Citra’s response to such people was, “He is not a loser! He is the best guy i have ever met in my entire life, there’s none out there guy like him.” Citra wrote that Sam was the one she prayed for and the way that he treated her was everything she had asked for “this whole time.”

Citra wrote that it was “so rare” to find someone loyal nowadays, and she was so glad she had found hers. Citra added, “Been cheated so many times in the past and constantly being all worried all day thought I couldn’t find someone that can love me as much as I love him.” She told her fans that God sent Sam to her on the dating app in December 2019, but their relationship wasn’t “always rainbow and sunshine.” Citra revealed that she married Sam on September 10, 2023, and they had been married for four months now.
