90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days's Angela Deem and Michael Ilesanmi arguing

Angela and Michael began their journey with 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2. She had not seen him in person and was worried about him being a scammer. Angela and Michael’s relationship became known for its toxicity when the couple kept getting back together despite multiple splits. While Angela knew that Michael had cheated on her, she still decided to stay with him. Michael got engaged to Angela, even though she’d accused him of using her ATM card in Nigeria to steal her money. Their age gap also led to disagreements.

Angela was unable to start a family with Michael due to her age. His family didn’t approve of her for this reason. Michael’s K-1 visa approval kept getting delayed, making Angela take the spousal visa route. The couple got married right before the COVID-19 pandemic, leading to further delays, but Angela made the most of their time apart by deciding to lose weight. She wanted to look young for her younger husband, so she dropped 100 pounds using surgery. Michael didn’t care as he betrayed her trust by having an online relationship with a 30-year-old American woman.

Angela brought Michael to the U.S. in good faith, only for him to stab her in the back months after he relocated. They appeared to be in love when they were spotted in public in January 2024. Michael has yet to divulge why he suddenly started fearing for his life around Angela, which made him want to run away. It remains to be seen if he will go back to Nigeria and if this shocking aspect of their storyline makes it to 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8.
