90 Day Fiancé

90 Day Fiancé Season 9 Cast Members Who Are Still Relevant (Should They Be?)

Many of the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 cast have tried to remain relevant in the franchise, but they don’t deserve the spotlight any longer. Viewers watched the 90-day journeys of Guillermo Rojer and Kara Bass, Emily Bieberly and Kobe Blaise, Patrick Mendes and Thaís Ramone, Bilal Hazziez and Shaeeda Sween, Ariela Weinberg and Biniyam Shibre, Yve Arellano and Mohamed Abdelhamed, and Jibri and Miona Bell on 90 Day Fiancé season 9. Each of them was in a cross-cultural relationship where they struggled to understand and appreciate one another.

At the end of the season, all seven couples tied the knot, but a lot has happened since then. During the season, Ariela and Biniyam struggled over jealousy, while Guillermo grew frustrated with Kara’s bossy attitude. Emily and Kobe grew their family while living under Emily’s parents’ roof. Jibri and Miona also struggled with family after they ditched Jibri’s South Dakota home with his parents. Bilal and Shaeeda had trouble agreeing on having a child, and Yve and Mohamed’s age and religious differences were ever apparent all season. Looking at each pair’s entertainment value, most 90 Day Fiancé season 9 couples should fade into history.

Many Season 9 Couples Landed On 90 Day Diaries

90 Day Diaries is the franchise spinoff where couples whose storylines have run their course or who have been less popular share their milestones and life updates with fans. It is filmed mostly by the couples themselves so that they can authentically represent their current lives to the 90 Day Fiancé audience. Couples land on 90 Day Diaries usually when they will not be on one of the main shows again. There have been occasions when repeating franchise cast members appear to tell a different narrative or update outside of what fans see on the core 90 Day Fiancé shows.

In the case of the couples from 90 Day Fiancé season 9, Guillermo and Kara, Ariela and Biniyam, Emily and Kobe, Bilal and Shaeeda, and Patrick and Thais were all featured on 90 Day Diaries season 5, which started airing in 2024. None of the couples are particularly relevant in the franchise anymore, now that they’ve settled into their married lives, and an update instead of a full season’s worth of attention makes the most sense, so 90 Day Diaries is a good spinoff for them as they ease out of the spotlight. Patrick’s brother, John McManus, is a cast member of 90 Day: The Single Life season 4.

Jibri & Miona and Yve & Mohamed Are No Longer Together

Jibri and Miona and Yve and Mohamed are both no longer together and have not appeared on anything 90 Day Fiancé related since season 9 ended. Jibri and Miona were obvious clout-chasers who flaunted their 90 Day Fiancé fame post-show appearance. However, Jibri moved to Southeast Asia, and Miona is still living in California and reportedly in a new relationship, so she and Jibri lost their relevancy as a couple. Mohamed accused Yve of domestic violence, although the charges were dropped. Yve has been working to get Mohamed deported for fraud, but that has gone nowhere in 2024 as Mohamed still appears to be in the U.S.

Which Season 9 Couples Are The Most Interesting?

All 90 Day Fiancé season 9 storylines and continued interest considered, Yve and Mohamed’s messy relationship ending and post-marriage lives would be the most interesting for cameras to follow. Their age gap and cultural and religious differences, coupled with Mohamed’s brazen attempt to get a new sponsor, made for jaw-dropping scenes with a lot of entertainment value. That said, there is a slim chance either Yve or Mohamed will be featured in anything again, so season’s 9 impact and relevancy in the franchise going forward is shrinking.

Ariela and Biniyam had two seasons of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way they were on before 90 Day Fiancé season 9, so their dynamic is played out. Kara and Guillermo, Emily and Kobe, and Bilal and Shaeeda have baby news and drama at the center of their relationship, which isn’t as entertaining as other drama that could go down in relationships. The cast for 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? season 8 has yet to be announced, but since most of the 90 Day Fiancé season 9 cast were on 90 Day Diaries, viewers probably won’t see them outside of that spinoff again, and that’s for the best.
