In February 2024, Josh talked about his son, who “was involved in a tragic car accident and lost response in his right leg.” He used Instagram to ask his followers to donate and help raise money for his son’s treatment. According to the GoFundMe, Jett’s friend, Diego Armenta, organized the fundraiser on behalf of Candice Mishler, Josh’s ex-wife. The fundraiser has raised over $31,000 of $50,000. Josh first talked about Jett’s accident in early Feb 2024. He asked his followers to pray for his son, adding that he loves him more than himself. Josh seemed completely shattered by the tragic incident and revealed some heartbreaking details. He shared that his son had already lost the battle with his right leg and was fighting for his life in the emergency room. On Feb 8, 2024, Josh shared that his son was finally awake and off the ventilator. He thanked his fans for their prayers and added that Jett would make the biggest comeback ever, as he is strong.
