90 Day Fiance: Is Mahmoud El Sherbiny In Prison? What Happened To Him After Arrest?

90 Day Fiance stars Mahmoud El Sherbiny and Nicole were all set to return to the reality TV realm. They were announced as the cast of Happily Ever After, and viewers were eagerly waiting for them to grace the screen. However, before anything could have happened, Mahmoud ended up going behind bars.

He was accused of domestic violence, and fans were in shock because of this. But they are now wondering if Mahmoud is still in prison and what happened to him after his infamous arrest. Where is the celeb these days?

90 Day Fiance: Where Is Mahmoud? Is He Still Behind Bars?

Physical altercation isn’t a new concept for Mahmoud and Nicole. During their previous appearance on 90 Day Fiance, viewers saw the latter shove the former off during an argument. But it seems that things went out of the couple’s hands, as they also ended up involving the police.

Several sources have confirmed that Mahmoud’s arrest took place on 21st February 2024. It was an afternoon in Downtown Los Angeles when he had to surrender to the police. Apparently, all this happened because the celeb was accused of “misdemeanor domestic violence.”

But Mahmoud didn’t have to stay behind bars for a long time. One of his close friends came to his rescue and bailed him out. According to reports, he ended up paying 20K to the authorities to get the 90 Day Fiance star out of custody. Hence, it is clear that the celeb is no longer in jail, but he surely has landed in some great trouble.

Mahmoud will now have to appear in court in mid-March. Apparently, even if Nicole chose not to press any charges against him, he would have to deal with the court. This is because the district attorney of the celebs will always have an option to proceed in this kind of matter.

90 Day Fiance: Mahmoud Used A Different Name During His Arrest

90 Day Fiance fans know Nicole’s husband by the name of Mahmoud El Sherbiny. But it appears that this is the title that he uses for TV, not the one he uses in real life. As per some sources, the celeb got booked under a different name. Some viewers wondered if this was due to privacy reasons, and perhaps he didn’t want the world to know about his infamous arrest.

This made viewers wonder if Mahmoud and Nicole would return for the Happily Ever After season or not. The network doesn’t tolerate such incidents and has canceled many stars because of such things in the past. But if the franchise decides to continue with the couple, fans will see a completely new side of their storyline.

This time, Mahmoud and Nicole’s storyline would take place in America. They are no longer in Egypt, and the latter doesn’t have to adjust to the traditional norms of her husband’s country. Hence, the couple would be featured, giving their marriage another chance. So, it would be interesting to watch if things would fall in their favor or not.
