While the show is a guilty pleasure for many, some have also accused the network of exploiting them. Well, one such person who has been making such claims recently is Ashley Martson. She made a post on her Instagram about the time she was on the show.
Ashley started off by saying that people think “reality show is actually reality” and disagreed with it by saying she would “tell them” the truth. Then the former star posted a poll for fans and asked if she should make Tiktok videos about what was real and staged from her storyline. She wanted to know if they would want to watch such content on her profile.
This isn’t the first time viewers have noticed such a thing happening. For instance, Biniyam and Ariela also had a fake storyline where the latter got jealous of her husband as he practiced his MMA skills with a female contender. Moreover, Deavan Clegg has also admitted to faking her storyline on 90 Day Fiance for the sake of the money.

It has been quite a few years since Ashley Martson appeared on 90 Day Fiance. Perhaps, once her relationship with Jay was over, the network didn’t see the potential in inviting her back. Many have been assuming that since the former TV star won’t star in the show anymore, she is willing to tarnish TLC’s image as there won’t be any consequences.
Many fans were rather upset with Ashley. They accused her of finding ways to stay relevant among reality TV viewers by digging up her past from the show. Some said they would have much rather preferred keeping themselves away from the limelight instead of using their past to bring the network down.
