Angela, 57, and Michael, 34, became acquainted via social media before their debut as a couple in 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 2 in 2018. The grandmother of six from Georgia met Michael in person for the first time in Lagos. Angela and Michael’s age and cultural differences were the biggest cause of their relationship troubles, but so was Angela’s aggressive personality.

Michael also wanted Angela to have his child, but with one egg left, Angela was unable to give him one. Twitter user @SHABOOTY first revealed that Michael was in the U.S. after a viewer wrote to them on December 24, 2023. The fan shared a photo of them with Angela, who they bumped into at a Food Lion in Georgia. They did not meet Michael since he was “in the car,” but Angela had shown them her ring and claimed she was “engaged” to Michael. Redditor lexi4020 posted a photo of Michael and Angela shopping at a Walmart in Georgia two days later. Reddit user JuggleMeThis saw “Angela and Michael IRL” on January 12, 2024. They were trying to cross the street at LAX with an entourage.
