General Hospital Update: Friday, May 19 – Josslyn’s Bold Move – Portia Trashes Jordan – Sasha’s News for Nina

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, May 19, teases that there’ll be some tension as Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) interacts with Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) at Kelly’s. Although Scott will hint about some surprising news, he’ll be cagey now that Liesl’s doubled down on their breakup.

Scott will ultimately focus on Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), who’s counting on Scott to defend him against false theft accusations.

Of course, Scott is also eager to file a lawsuit against the WSB over the lost Ice Princess, but Cody may try to talk him out of that due to his DNA deception.

Once Cody shows up to discuss some case updates, he might wonder if he can help Scott with his Liesl problem, too.

Next, Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will comfort Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) since she’s still an outsider in Willow Corinthos’ (Katelyn MacMullen) life, but Sasha will hope better days are ahead.

Now that Sasha plans to ditch the guardianship and take the reins of her own life again, she’ll certainly know what it’s like to come out stronger on the other side.

Unfortunately, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) has already exploited her control of Sasha’s finances and may do it again before she’s stripped of power.

There’s also a chance Gladys will consider spying on Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) after all since Selina Wu (Lydia Look) made that a backup option.

Regardless, Gladys will head to Pozzulo’s, where she’ll make it clear to Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) and another hired goon that Sonny will want to see her first since she’s family.

However, Gladys might get stuck waiting on Sonny to wrap up his meeting with Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), who’s practically family since she’s Sonny’s former stepchild.

It turns out Josslyn will try to collect a favor in Friday’s GH episode. Josslyn may indeed play that family card since Sonny certainly still cares about Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) daughter.

It looks like Josslyn will ask for Dex’s freedom and try to get him out of the mob life, but Sonny may stand against that plan since Dex has become such a good employee.

Although Josslyn is hoping to find a solution that keeps Dex in Port Charles and gets him away from Sonny’s criminal world, she may be out of luck for now.

At GH, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will question if Michael Corinthos’ (Chad Duell) newfound push for peace is coming from him or Willow instead.

Michael may admit it was Willow’s idea, but he’ll support her on this since his battle with Sonny could’ve done permanent damage and made a real mess with his siblings.

At The Savoy, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) will pull back from his kiss with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper), but temptation will remain as they take this sizzling moment somewhere more private.

Will Jordan and Curtis land in bed together? That could certainly complicate Curtis’ attempt to reconcile with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr), who’ll hold Jordan responsible for some of her marriage issues on Friday’s show.

Portia will grumble to Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews), but Taggert may think Portia needs to own up to her mistakes and trust that Curtis will come around eventually.
