General Hospital Preview Week of April 17: Desperate Times Call For Devious Plots
General Hospital spoilers preview video for the week of Monday, April 17 through Friday, April 21 teases desperate times call for devious plots. Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) plot their way of escape, while at home their loved ones plan rescue missions.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Very Dangerous Man
Still on The Haunted Star, Spencer is urgently telling Trina that they need to move fast if they’re going to outwit Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy).
Spencer tells a frightened Trina that man is more dangerous than he ever could have imagined, and if they don’t stop him before landfall, it will be too late for all of them.
Victor is plotting world domination by releasing a pathogen to exterminate the world population down to a manageable number, then controlling those left.
He may be planning to revamp his late brother Mikkos Cassadine’s (John Colicos) weather machine and control the world that way.
Or, he could be thinking of another way entirely.
GH Spoilers: Old Buddies Team Up
Meanwhile, back in Port Charles, old buddies team up as Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) enlists Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) to search and rescue Trina.
Curtis is worried as he tells Drew he doesn’t know how long Trina can stay hidden, after telling him she stowed away on The Haunted Star.
Drew was going to go after Victor along with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) anyway before Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was shot, so now he can join Curtis and possibly more.
They’ll confer with Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) at the end of the week, as they all work together to try and catch up with the boat.
Drew’s Navy Seal experience should prove invaluable, as well as anything he may remember hearing about this Venezuelan compound while he was captive on Cassadine Island.
General Hospital Weekly Preview: Two Women Connect Over Trina Robinson’s Danger
Back at GH, two women connect over the danger Trina has gotten herself into, and Portia Robinson, (Brook Kerr) Trina’s mother cries. Ava Jerome, (Maura West) Trina’s mentor who thinks of the younger girl as a daughter herself is worried too, although she tries to be strong and encourage Portia.
Ava admits that time is running out, and the longer The Haunted Star is gone the better the chance of Trina’s discovery onboard, which could be fatal in spite of Spencer’s efforts to protect her.
Meanwhile, back on the Haunted Star, Trina is running and sneaking in and out of staterooms trying to come up with a plan, she says they have to do something!
They’ll strike on a plot for Trina to sabotage something in the engine room to slow down or stop the boat for rescuers to have a better chance of finding them.
