As of 2023, only a handful of marriages formed on MAFS are still intact, including Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner (season 1), Ashley Petta and Anthony D’Amico (season 5), and Kristine Killingsworth and Keith Dewar (season 8).

Following the recent departure of Dr. Viviana Coles, Dr. Pepper Schwartz and Pastor Calvin Roberson were joined by two new experts. Making their debut on MAFS season 15, as matchmakers and guides, were New York Times bestselling author, motivational speaker and Hollywood producer DeVon Franklin, and psychotherapist, Dr. Pia Holec.

MAFS season 14, which ended in May 2022 with two successful marriages, reportedly began filming during autumn 2021, ahead of its January 2022 premiere date. This makes it different from MAFS season 15, as the now-removed casting application revealed that filming for that season took place in early January 2022. According to Distractify, MAFS takes about three months to film, given its eight-week experiment, which indicates that filming for season 15 likely ended in late March to early April 2022.
MAFS fans enjoyed getting to know the season’s duos, and in August 2022, the series put up a casting call for MAFS season 17. The future season was slated to match individuals located in Denver. It’s true that previous MAFS seasons have had a low success rate, although the series has changed in several ways since its debut years ago.
